Award winning Mereway Kitchens was established in 1986 by the Norris family and is still owned by them today, operating from a 150,000 sq. ft. manufacturing site based in the West Midlands. All furniture is made to order and supplied rigid using traditional glue and dowel methods and cabinets carry a 10-year guarantee. Offering one of the largest ranges of cabinet styles and sizes available in the kitchen industry, Mereway pride themselves on fast production times, efficient deliveries and exceptional customer service.

Using the very best technology and machinery in the industry, Mereway invests heavily in the latest technologies, combining it with the traditional workmanship and attention to detail for which they are renowned. To achieve quality, speed of delivery and the utmost flexibility, a two-stage cell based strategy is used within the production facility. Cutting, edging and storage of a large number of standard components means that, at any time, there are over 50,000 panels in store. The state of the art production line allows Mereway to produce a rigid carcass every minute. Individual, bespoke kitchens are made to order.

Panels are taken from storage, modified if necessary, drilled, assembled, packed and despatched quickly and efficiently. These techniques are made possible through the use of the latest hi-tech computerised machinery. Adopting a Kaizen ('Continuous Improvement') approach, Mereway work to reduce waste in machinery, streamlining planning, processes and production methods. They also work to reduce waste, focusing on the development of more re- usable packaging. Through exceptional team training programs Mereway's production teams have adopted best practice using a number of professional business processes to improve performance and efficiency - benefits that are then passed on to their customers.
